Step 3 Interviews
The follow-up process is all about getting to know you better. Are you the talented person we are seeking? Are you a match for the Netherlands Red Cross and which unique qualities will you bring? Do you have the right knowledge, skills and required experience to perform well in the role? And can we see you growing with our organisation? We also think it is important that you get to know us and can ask questions. Basically, we want to invest time and effort in getting to know you better. We do this in one or several sessions in which your future team members are also present. So you will immediately get to know the people you could be working with later on. We may also ask you to do an assessment. This is all to ensure that there is a good match.
Step 4 Integrity and background check
For people in need, it is vital to us at the Netherlands Red Cross that we safeguard the reliability, professionalism and integrity of our organisation and our current and future employees. That is why a reference check forms part of the appointment process and you will need to supply a VOG (certificate of good conduct).
Step 5 Offer
If you are enthusiastic and we are too, you can expect a great offer. We have our own collective labour agreement. Our benefits package also includes an individual choice budget, so you can decide yourself what best suits your situation and requirements. You can opt for holidays and/or a (year-end) benefit, which you can have paid monthly or at once. Determining your own hours, a discount on keeping fit or a bicycle plan are just a few of the many choices available. You can also choose which national or cultural holiday you would like to take off. Once everyone is in agreement, we will quickly get to work to arrange everything for your career at the Netherlands Red Cross.
Step 6 Welcome
Welcome to the Netherlands Red Cross! It’s fantastic that you have chosen for our organisation. Your team will show you around and make sure you have a smooth start in your new workplace. You will quickly discover the dynamics of working for an aid organisation. Together, we do everything we can to help people really move forward in a world full of challenges and needs. It’s great that you are now also part of this positive change.
Step 7 Onboarding
We will give you an extra welcome during the onboarding day, along with other new colleagues. This is a fantastic time to learn more about our organisation, its mission, other local branches and the International Red Cross. You will get to meet some great colleagues and can further expand your internal network.
